🙏Prayers and Spiritual Guidance Prayer to the Holy Spirit O Holy Spirit, By Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus' name.  By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar's heart for Goodness within us. 🙏Prayers and Spiritual Guidance Prayer of Solidarity For all who have contracted coronavirus, We pray for care and healing. For those who are particularly vulnerable, We pray for safety and protection. For all who experience fear or anxiety, We pray for peace of mind and spirit. For affected families who are facing difficult decisions between food on the table or public safety, We pray for policies that recognize their plight. For those who do not have adequate health insurance,  We pray that no family will face financial burdens alone. For those who are afraid to access care due to immigration status, We pray for recognition of the God-given dignity of all. For our brothers and sisters around the world, We pray for shared solidarity. For public officials and decisionmakers, We pray for wisdom and guidance. Father, during this time may your Church be a sign of hope, comfort and love to all. Grant peace. Grant comfort. Grant healing. Be with us, Lord. Amen. Source :  United St...

Mike Schmitz outlines what our response as Catholics should be during this pandemic.  It is so easy for us to become what Fr. Mike coins as "armchair quarterbacks" or backseat drivers, and criticize what is happening in our world today.  We have the luxury of criticizing because we don't have the responsibility of making important decisions.  What Fr. Mike suggests we should do instead is 1. Be grateful; and 2. Pray for those who are making the decisions....
